Hi everyone, I'm getting married on 16th of Feb and we were hoping to get our honeymoon at the last minute. We're on a very tight budget and want to get somewhere nice but don't mind where we go.

Expedia.ie seems to be the cheapest but I thought the whole point of last min travel was that travel agents had bought holidays and had to get rid of the unsold holidays for whatever price they can get...

Has anyone got any tips or advice or experience with this kind of thing?

    What's the budget?

This time of year if you want sun you should be looking at the carribean, try and go all inclusive if you can it'll save you a packet.
Cuba is a little expensive to get to but there's nothing to spend money on when your there.

Our budget is between 500 and 800 for flights and hotel. We can only go for about a week cause we have 2 small children and don't want to leave them for too long

Regarding sun and temperature, we don't need high temperatures, but bright dry weather would be nice

If that's each you'd get to Barbados for 7 nights within your budget, the canaries would be well within budget, I'd say the temperature would be around the 16-20 mark there. Barbados would be about 28 every day and 28 in the water as well.
Egypt could be worth a look but I'd say its to late to find any value in the resorts there.
Maybe have a chat with your local travel agent, I think there's some value if you went on a cruise the seem to be pushing them hard.

My colleague booked a last minute flight to Sharm el Sheik Egypt last week. Booked on Monday, flew out on Thursday. €450 per person all inclusive in a very good hotel. Transfers everything included.
