Hi folks. Have a 97 Honda 1.4 saloon. Engine dry as a bone usually. Just noticed a leak on a part. Don't know what the part is but have attached two photos. One from a distance the other close up.

Be handy to have an idea what it is before chatting with my mechanic.

It is a pipe from the power steering pump, looks a very minor leak, what is the level of the power steering fluid like?

Correct I'd say its just the copper wAsher under the Bango bolt. Very easy fix

Thanks a lot lads, I'll have a gander tomorrow morning and see how much fluid is in it.

Its a very minor weep from the PS pipe as has been said.

Assuming there is no actual drip of fluid under the pipe then it isn't something to be concerned about.

No drip. Just has weeped as said. First bit of wet on that engine in 200 odd k miles.

Then I'd say just get some engine de-greaser and clean the pipe and you likely won't see anything return for a good while.
