Samsung: mode not supported, please help

    Im a bit of a technophob. I have a samsung sp02 and went to connect my ps3 with the hdmi cable which has been used through the tv before but using a different tv up until today.
    So when i connect the hdmi cable the screen came up " Mode Not Supported".Does anyone know why i'm getting this message or what could be wrong?

    Found the problem after a tawl of the net, had to change the ps3 settings from 1080p to 1080i. All good now and worn out from gaming.
