First time buyer advice 5.1 set up

I was thinking of getting a 5.1 system but a few things are putting me off. First off my living room has wooden floors and I dont want cables running out across it. Second I have 2 blu ray players and all the bundles sold in shops seem to sell the speakers with a br or dvd player. I dont want 3 br players and i cant rid of…

You're not going to get anything decent with wireless surround speakers, so you will have to run speaker cables.
