Hi does anyone know of anywhere in Ireland that does Service and Repair on Nikon. I have a D200 and when I'm shooting in CL or CH mode after a couple of shots Im getting an Error message on the main display and its freezes for a few seconds and then works again! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Nikon Service Centre

    Phone: 0469557151

    Address: Isaacstown, RATHMOLYON, MEATH
I have used them and find them excellent.
Check your card as it may not be fast enough to shoot at burst mode.

    Hi OP,
As the other poster said can you check your card, could be your card is not fast enough for the amount of shots you are shooting, can you try a different card to see if it helps the issue. This seems the logical answer to be honest.
I take it the camera works fine when shooting at normal speed ??
Just another option, reduce the file/image size to the basic or smallest size and try again in CL or CH.

    Regards,

    Gerard

The small freeze after the error kind of seems like the buffer trying to clear and waiting for the card to catch up writting as the other posters have said.
If changing the card does not work and you are not on the latest firmware available for the camera update the camera as this can fix some firmware issues that may be affecting you.
