    I'm thinking about looking for a loan from my local CU. does anyone know what percentage of the loan you need to have in savings? Ballpark figure. Thanks

    first loan is normally 2 times your savings. You have to be saving regularly for 13 weeks. Second loan three times your savings - ball park figures.
