Anyone been down to any of them? Have around 2-3000 to spend on a car, looking for a nice diesel to get around in. Friend of mine got his car for a great price just wondering anyone else have experience with it? Thanks

Loads of threads here on what bad value they are and how people get carried away, just do a forum search on auctions merlin

The way the auctions are now, there are too many private buyers paying too near retail for it to be worthwhile although I hear that its turning again alittle as all the hype on the news about the massive bargains has gone away.
There is a strong possibility you would get burned in that you may buy a car with faults that were not obvious or just buy a general heap of crap.
