so, I just turned on my laptop after a few days without it being on and realized my 's' key isn't working. I have unclipped the key and cleaned around it, restarted it everything to no avail. The key is working when I use the onscreen keyboard.

I don't know where to go with this, it's only 16 months old o would I be okay to bring it back to the shop I bought it to see what they say?

Anyone got any opinions on what I could try to do to try fix the problem?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi.
It sounds like your keyboard is gone. Usually not too difficult to replace but watch few you tube videos how it's done first. Then get a keyboard on ebay for your laptop model.
It will void your warranty but more then likely it only had 12 months.

You will save few €€€ but if you are not handy with screwdriver you can let local computer shop do it for you.
    What make/model laptop is it?
