I've been attempting to cancel sky tv all week and keep getting fobbed off. I've had past experience with upc so I cancelled my directdebit, and am expecting bills, so if anyone has an irish email for sky can.u please post.

You can use the contact form on the website. But you're better speaking to the cancellations office in Cork. I cancelled this week no bother

You could also send them a registered letter giving them a precise date for cancellation if you want to be spared the hard sell.

When I cancelled over 2yrs ago I used this email address: mysky@bskyb.com. You'll have to give all your details in the mail.

Tell them you are leaving the country. They cannot try to persuade you to stay if you say you are moving to Canada.

Thanks for your replies. I got them to call me back the other day after loadsa call at my expense) and confirmed the cancellation.

Like all of these 'services' it's made easy to sign up and awkward to sign out.
