Yes I've got a road scorching BMW 318CI with the above tyre size.

It currently has a full set of Bridgestone Turanzas but the rears need changing.

I want as sticky a tyre as possible. Located in Dublin. Can anyone help and recommend a brand and place to get them tomorrow.

Feel free to PM me with a cash offer if your selling.

Grippiest tyres I've had were toyo t1r but they wore out very quickly.

Consider falken, kumho or hankook if you can get them. Cant advise on where to buy as I'm not in Dublin and usually buy online.

I had Falken on a previous car and found them poor compared to the Conti's I took off.

I doubt I'll keep the car long enough to wear them out but I'd prefer have as much grip as I can without spending crazy amounts.

Its hard to beat the Bridgestone's you have as an all round tyre tbh.

Offered them for €100 a corner in Donneybrook which is a rip off.

€110 in Atlas in Stillorgan

€100 for Bridgestones in that size would be the normal price, you might squeeze them for €95 at a push.

Someone in another thread making out they got them for €80 a corner

I'm pretty surprised at that price mind

I get toyo t1r's everytime. Find they grip brilliant and can be got at a decent price online. Agree they can wear out quick, but for the price and performance I can't complain.

They may have, but they weren't sourced from Bridgestone Ireland so god knows where they came from.

I have used the Hankook ventus s1 evo before and found them easily comparable to the Bridgestone's while being a little cheaper.

Priced them for that in Newry but as you say not Bridgestone IRL.

    Recommend anywhere?

The size I was running was quite a bit bigger then 205/55/16 so the price doesn't really compare to your size.

They are genuine Bridgestone tyres with emarks I'm not making it up google tyrelandkilkenny.com . They are defiantly legit not polish crap or whatever. This place sells tyres to half of Kilkenny. It says 85 on the website but I'm sure I paid 80 for them last November but even 85 seems cheap by what your all saying.

What model are they and what's the date on them?

I know how much they are from Bridgestone and if they are selling and fitting them for even €85 then they have made 0 profit so it doesn't make sense.

Its almost certain that they are importing them from some other market.

If I put up a picture of them would it help where is the year on them?

From the tyres I can see there turanzas er300 205 55 r16 they say made in France there is a e4 and e20 mark on them. What would show they are legit. I compared them to the ones on the back that the previous owner would have bought in Dublin and they look identical but I know very little about tyres as you can see.

Give these a call in the morning,. I got four 205/16 of them last autumn for 85 or 90 I think they were. A lot cheaper than all the tyre centers and garages around me. http://www.lctyres.ie/special-offers.htm.

    O, they are Bridgestone.

The Turanza ER300 is a good tyre but has now been superseded by the Turanza T001 which has a better economy and wet grip rating. I have T001s on one of my own cars (Merc E Class) and find them excellent. The going rate for a T001 in 205/55 16 is around €95 fitted so I certainly wouldn't say €100 is a "rip-off"

T001's are in fact the tyre I was offered.

    Couldn't remember the model name

That probably explains why I paid 80 euro fitted for mine as they are ER300. So that was probably a standard enough price for them as you said they are the previous model. Still a good tyre.

Yes they were a great tyre. If anything they were a harder wearing tyre than the T001.
