    Hi.

Just wondering if anyone could tell me where I could get hold of the Humax Freesat HDR 350 gb? PC World/Currys are out of stock. They were selling it at €199.99. Looking to get it for the same price.

    Thanks.

    Have you considered 2nd hand?

Plenty of bargains out there since the box is now out of date in the UK, having been replaced by a more up-to-date box.

I bought a 320gb one for £120 couple of years ago from AVForum Classifieds, and there is usually a steady supply of them on there.

+1, never let me down over 3 years, if you want more have a look at raydon firmware.

+1, excellent receiver, fitted a 1TB drive into mine, Raydon software. If you want Freesat it's unbeatable. You can even add in Saorsat, if you have the time.

I have 3 foxsat hdrs on the go and the Raydon firmware is highly recommended, it is superb.

I love being able to use my tablet or ipod touch to change the channel! Humax should incorporate the firmware into current and future products!

no just that the receipt will be here somewhere to say it was bought from argos.
it might still be under guarantee , was about a year ago we bought it.
machine is in perfect condition , we are only here half the time so its rarely used.
makes more sense for us to use the sky box here and use a freeview up north to get rte

Thank you. You selling it 150 euro?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,189 ✭✭✭hawkwind23

i just had a look there and i cant find a freeview pvr for £125 sterling , all look to be around £200 mark.
it would be a fair bit to add to get one so id need to ask for 170€ , even thats only 140 sterling.

and ive just looked at the currys ie site :(
they have the same model for €199.

thats a great price and id advise you to get that!
but if you cant stretch to that ill sell mine :)
