Sky plus- live TV pause

    What's the story with the pause live tv time limit with Sky Plus? Is it an hour or so tops? i.e, I seem to have to return to live TV after an hour approx of pausing.I don't mean the actual pause function, but the playback. The programme I've paused on, cuts off after about 20-30mins.

    I used to have UPC digi plus and I could pause a programme and come back a couple hrs later and it would still be fine i.e could watch the full original prog and the next couple of programmes if I wanted to.

    Now I know I could just record it but I'd got into the habit of pausing something, heading off doing other stuff and coming back sometimes a good bit later.

    As far as I know there's an option to extend the live record time in the menus somewhere

    60 minutes is the maximum. It can be adjusted by Options > Sky+ Setup > Instant Rewind
