Hi Everybody, Im applying to the CAO in the next couple of weeks and i am very confused about how the grant system works, As it stands my Father is a farmer and my Mother is a SNA in a national school, I'm just wondering if i am accepted on my course Collage is (43KM) from my house, I'm just wondering is there any income…

Hi Everybody,

Im applying to the CAO in the next couple of weeks and i am very confused about how the grant system works,

As it stands my Father is a farmer and my Mother is a SNA in a national school,

I'm just wondering if i am accepted on my course Collage is (43KM) from my house,

I'm just wondering is there any income levels you have to meet or what happpens? and we do not have a medical card,

It's important to note
The income thresholds for entitlement to the student grant are reduced by 3% for those qualifying in 2013.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
