Pictures on cache wont stay deleted

    Got an android tablet a few weeks ago, second hand. All seems to be working fine but in the Gallery app there is a folder called cache, I tried deleting the folder, deleting the pictuers in the folder and also in settings clearing the cache and clearing the date in the application settings.

    Each time I do any of the above the photos stay deleted until I restart the tablet. (Full power down and restart). When I restart they are back where the were. They are thumbnail file of pictures if that makes any difference.

    Any help appreciated as I have not got a clue about android tablets!!!!

    Have you got pictures sync turned on?

    Settings -> Accounts -> Sync, select Google account... i nthere somewhere depending on what version you have.
