    Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a running watch that is not overly-expensive. All I'm really concerned about in a running watch is time and distance?

I don't think most "regular" digital watches show 'distance'.

As I'm a novice on this subject so I'm open to all advice and recommendations :)

    Tks

There are two ways for a watch to calculate distance
    - connect to a footpod that counts the number of strides you take. This is not very precise
    - use GPS to measure your position. This is more precise, also more expensive

For a good, cheap GPS watch I'd go for the Garmin Forerunner 10

Thanks RayCun. I had come across this watch during my research. Looks good. Seems as if you have to pay at least €100 (approx.) for a decent watch.

Any thoughts on the Soleus GPS 1.0 Digital Running watch?
