    Hi Guys,

Im a guy and in the mid 20's age bracket.
I need to get a new suit for work and maybe interviews.
I was just wondering where is the best place to get one.
Could I got to M&S or Next? Or would a dedicated Suit shop be better?

M and s is deadly but evn penneys do a very good quality suit for reasonable. I got my oh one there and i work with expensive suits! The most important thing is to get one that fits across the shoulders. Waist and sleeve length can be altered slightly by good alterations people. Pm me is you want some names. Also i will suggest buying 2 trousers for every jacket. They tend to wear quicker.

Next have some lovely ones at the moment. Marks often have nice ones although I haven't been in recently. I would avoid a really cheap suit as often these go shiny and ill fitting.

Debenhams can also be worth a look.

I agree with the previous poster about getting two jackets/skirts for ever jacket.

I have heard from male friends that Burton does pretty nice affordable suits :)

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll go check those places out today. The extra trousers seems like a good plan too!

I guess it depends on your budget but for quality I would recommend M&S over the other places mentioned. They also let you mix and match trouser and jacket sizes which most other places do not.

The amazing thing about M&S suits is that they're machine washable (all I think, or certainly any that I've bought) which saves a fortune on dry cleaning :)

I'm not sure how much an M&S suit would cost, possibly 50 euro for the jacket and 30 for the pants maybe? If you could stretch the budget a little you could get a nice suit on sale in somewhere like Best Menswear. I have been out of the country for a week or two but when I was out shopping last they had some really nice suits for anywhere from 129 E - 199 E.

I don't even know if M&S machine washable polyester suits go for 80e, maybe in the sales.

Really though OP if it's for work you want to ensure you look professional. With that in mind, I would at least aim for a pure wool suit and avoid the stiff looking polyester suits.

For M&S I would look at their Collezione, Sartorial or maybe Performance ranges.

Arnotts have loads of Strellson and Paul Costello suits in their sale at the moment.
