Unreal stuff. What a bunch of barbarians.

Please take the time to mail the embassy here and voice your discontent (info@saudiembassy.ie )

I would also encourage everyone to contact as many politicians as possible asking why we let a country like this have an embassy here. It should be shut down.

But then you couldn't voice your discontent.

What exactly are you objecting to? the execution or the fact that she was apparently a minor when she was accused of the crime?

Both I don't agree with but the latter is the one that is completely unacceptable.

Absolute savages. Her confession was beaten out of her and there was no interpreter present never mind a lawyer. I very much doubt she even commited the crime most likely a fit up,even if she was guilty she was only 17 and that contravenes human rights. Disgusting regime still living in the dark ages.

The man who strangled his prison cellmate in order to insure that he was executed officially died at 9.08pm tonight after being shocked to death in an electric chair.
Robert Gleason Jr. was pronounced dead by authorities Wednesday night at the Greensville Correctional Center in Virginia.
The 42-year-old inmate was the first executed in the U.S. this year and the first to choose to die by electrocution since 2010.

    So what's the difference?

You have a copy of the original there? This is Saudis we're talking about. They still live in a really tribal society that is barbaric to say the least. I would believe very little they say or produce and even if she was over 18 I'm sure her guilt could be questioned too. The only reason nobody does anything is because they have lots of oil and scared the **** out of the west in the 70s when they halted oil exports.

Yea - I have, 4 posts mention her age - one specifically the issue that her age is different on the passport - I was making the point that the Bbc make a thing of her age and give evidence that she was actually 31.

I don't see the problem there
