Id give the guts of 500 for that too,

    Had a saloon version before,

Epic reliability & cheapness of motoring, they just dont die

0 comfort but what would ya be wanting that for :D:D

€500 is about right if ya give its a good wash and stick an air freshener in it.

500 is a fair chunk for it Id imagine , mate of mine picked up a saloon one about a month ago for 250 quid . NCT'd til next April with a handy bit of tax on it too .

Thats VERY cheap for anything with test tbh...

In the end of the day its worth what 1 person is willing to pay for it,

If twas me, put it on dd for 600 open to offers, sell for 450-500 and happy motoring to the new owner..

Yeah, they are a legendary car. More or less the only old car you see on the road, with some nissans. I only had to put in a bulb to pass the NCT yesterday!

And would you believe I get 50mpg on every tank of petrol. If I can do that on a '95, it is funny for me why motoring journalists are always complaining they can t reach the offical fuel economy.

    Thanks for the help

    Nope, :o

Drove mine for 9 months up and down the length of the m9 at 90-100kmh and never got anything near that, and mine only had 100k miles on it... sorry but does not compute... :(

I sold a 1995 Suzuki Cultus last month, 155k, NCT to Sep 13, for more than 500 so I'd suggest putting it up on DoneDeal for 600-650 and see what happens. Good luck.

    I hear you...

There are so many variables, road, car condition, speed and driver

Today, i had a job up in castlebar, filled up 35L after completing 385 miles. Thats about 50mpg i think. 11 miles/liter.

    Its unsually good i know.

Your right alright from the given figures the car is doing 50.01 mpg. That's serious going for a petrol car of its age.

Some young farmeresque whipper-snapper, about 17 - 19 would give you their right testicle for that car.

You would then see it going around with the oblig "1.6 GSR" conversion, JDM stickers (4 doors moar whores, yolo, lower than your grannies nipples etc) plastered all over the boot, wheels would be either minilites with stretched rubbers or TSW asans/exuivalent BK knockoff. Drop would be obnoxious, to near undriveable. Donegal plates and cherrybomb box to finish it off.

My point is, NCT it and you'd be surprised the demand for your car :)

    Ha!

Its a great oppourtunity for a lad to pimp it up!

I would love to sell it local then.

Might put the car on adverts and wait

I'm such an arse..... Just saw it is NCT'd, apologies :o

Lots and lots of people love them corollas, especially in a 1.3 Cant see you having any trouble getting rid of it.

    Especially with a long test!!

Just be prepared for the time wasters

    :)

More so the manner of driving. I like to take in the scenery, cruising a 50mph

I would not bother putting it on adverts.ie to be honest. If you ask for €500 on there, somebody over there will offer you €100 plus a Jack Russell and will be insulted when you decline their offer.

Donedeal is the best place, those Corollas have a loyal following, I reckon you will get €500 - €600 for that car all day long. A quick wash and new photos should do the trick.
