Hi. I have a 1990 fiat ducato campervan and am looking for an exhaust manifold for it. Would anyone know where I could get one.

    Thanks

Your Fiat Ducato is the same as my Talbot Express or a Citroen C25 or Puegeot J5.

You could ring a main dealer Fiat/Citroen/Puegeot and they could possibly get one for you or you could try these http://www.no1gear.com in the UK if you have no luck here.

From a English Talbot Express forum ... New ones are available from the main dealers. The gaskets are widely available on ebay for around £10. What tends to happen with these manifolds is that they warp where the face meets the cylinder head. These can be re-faced at most engine reconditioners as i had mine done 2 years ago. If you buy a used one be careful as this may also need to be re-faced

Some good info here too http://www.jktowers.fsnet.co.uk/motorhome/

The Peugeot engine is totally different to the fiat.

I thought once the litre (1.9d 2.5td 2.0petrol etc.) matched up they were the same engines too, but I trust your answer as you've been working on them for years (you learn something new every day:))

Is it rusted through or cracked or what, you might be able to get it welded you need to find someone thats experienced in welding cast though.

Worth asking on http://www.talbotoc.com/ someone might be prepared to ship you one.

There are plenty of turbo ones on ebay.de maybe add a turbo while you're at it :-p

the chassis' are identical alright , but no , there are 2 types of 1.9 , and 2 types of 2.5 . Fiat and PSA(Peugeot/Citroen) each have 1.9 and 2.5s in the older chassis . To put the cat amongst the pigeons though , it's not unheard of to find a Peugeot or Citroen badged chassis with a Fiat engine in it .

If you hear 2.8 , for example , that's in the late 90's up to 2006 chassis , regardless of the badge on the bonnet , that's a Fiat motor .

Any pics? The old 1.9 was used in the 1994 onward model too , it might work.

This part is no longer available from Fiat. It is the same as used in Fiat Tipo and Tempra cars with non turbo engines fitted. Or earlier the same as Ritmo, Regatta 1.9 non turbo diesel engine.
The part number is 5964841. Some of the eBay shops use the original part numbers in thier ads. Type it into Google along with the description and something is bound to pop up.

Looking at the gasket part number its common to bravo, brava, punto with the same engine if you can't find the correct manifold it might be easier to get the exhaust replumbed to one of those

Thanks everyone. I got a brand new one on eBay. From Martin willem in Netherlands.
However I'm now looking for a thermostat housing for the 1990 fiat ducato. Any ideas?
