The death of a Chicago lottery winner has led to a murder investigation after a post-mortem examination found he died of cyanide poisoning.

Urooj Khan, 46, died suddenly as he was about to collect almost $425,000 (£264,000)
    ...
Urooj Khan said he had sworn off gambling after making a trip to Saudi Arabia for the Muslim hajj pilgrimage, local store employee Ashur Oshana told the Associated Press.

Do people still use inheritance powder in this day and age ?

And it's not the first someone has gotten into trouble after forswearing gambling either.

I know I wouldn't take the extra few quid to allow my name be know if I won the lotto.

It's like winning the lotto and dying the next day.. Isn't it ironic...

I would take the extra money and tell them not to let my name be known.
