Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    www.dublincity.ie Redesign Brief
On 26 November 2012, the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Naoise O’Muiri, officially launched the Digital Dublin initiative at the first Digital Leaders Forum meeting at the Mansion House Dublin.

The Digital Dublin initiative aims to develop a Digital Masterplan for the city region by June of 2013. The objective of the Digital Masterplan will be to develop Dublin as a world centre of digital excellence. The Masterplan will cover all aspects of economy and living.

As a first step, the Lord Mayor issued a number of digital challenges to the Tech Community in the city.

One such challenge is to invite members of the local Tech / ICT community in the city to look at and evaluate the current city corporate website, www.dublincity.ie, and offer innovative suggestions / concepts and ideas to make it more user friendly and relevant to citizens and to further advise how the look, feel, information access, and citizen participation could be reshaped/developed and re-imagined.

As a 21st century Digital city Dublin will need a 21st century web portal – this is your opportunity to assist, participate and input into reshaping the city’s web presence.

Please visit http://www.facebook.com/DigitalDublin and leave your comments, suggestions / ideas in the www.dublincity.ie REDESIGN BRIEF topic as to how Dublin City might provide it’s citizens with an effective efficient web presence.

Alternatively you can email to digital@dublincity.ie

Looking forward to hearing from you.
