I cannot turn down one radiator. The plastic control knob is very stiff. What can i use on it? A lot of them are a bit stiff would it be from heat being on high?

Try doing it when the system is cold.

When you turn on the radiator, turn it up full and then turn it back by one revolution.

It's either old valves or crap valves. In the last 10 years there was alot of crap valves being sold. If you put a spanner on the brass part where the cap was it might stir it. Be careful not to snap it off though

i took off the plastic and managed to turn it with the part of a hammer used to withdraw nails. Is there a tool for that like an allen key, the plastic did not seem to catch it
