I was passing by garden centre this morning and noticed that construction work was going on. Anybody know what the plans are. Mr Sexton was pottering about on one side of the compound, so he is stilll trading. Would love to know what is going to happen with this wonderful site.

I've no idea what's happening there now, but I was there in September and they were having a closing-down sale.

The girl at the counter said the owners were retiring.

However the 80-year-old will remain very busy in retirement as he has plans to use the lands to create a 'people's park' including animals, a farmers' market, and somewhere for children to play.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
