Theres a multi coloured star type thing in the sky!

Im in Clonsilla, Dublin 15 and its dead south and about 30 degrees in the sky.

This is not like all of the other stars as its flashing in different colours but is staying still so its not a helicopter/plane etc.

Anybody else see it or know what it is?

That STAR is in the sky right now, south facing quite low, changing lots of colours! Cool looking ..... Definitely not a lantern

My guess it's the star Sirius , just bottom left of Orion. It flashes different colours due to earths atmosphere. Apart from the planets it's the brightest star in the sky..
