Can't get RTE1+1 via Cairn Hill?

    Hi all. I don't use saorview myself - but had set everything up in that regard for my parents. Was round there recently and they complained that the channel listing for RTE1+1 wasn't working. I carried out a full scan - but no joy.


    Does anyone have any idea what could be at issue here? The box being used is a Ferguson Ariva.

    You must do the initial scan after 7pm for it to be picked up. This is when the station comes on. It will be fine once you do the initial tuning after 7pm. After that it will always be in the channel list.

    Perfect - didn't know that to be the case - and the scan I did was some hours before 7pm.


    6 minutes between posting and receiving the required answer - ye can't beat boardsies! :D

    RTÉ1+1 and RTÉjr share the same stream/space on Saorview but some non-approved receivers do not see/store the channel not on-air at the time the scan was carried out eventhough the channel info is there.
