    Hi,
Would anyone have a lenght of railway track about 5ft long? .Wanted for a small project. Any condition would be fine.I know some sheds are built from Railway tracks so I thought someone might have a bit lying around?

    Thanks

Going making an anvil? Where abouts are you in the country? There is lots of it near Portlaoise station. I think it's a sort of depot for maintenance.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Depends where you are. I bought 8ft lengths of track to hang heavy gates off.

Can be bought in Clare anyway in Kellys in Clondegad.

I do a bit of smithing, but I think you'd be better off to try and buy an anvil. There are a few on donedeal, make sure you get one that is flat on top, don't buy one that is so worn that it is dipped down in the middle.

I was going to try and avoid buying an actual anvil but the cost of one is out of my range so someone suggested i use railway track to make one.
