    what sort of keyboard would i need to get to learn to play? how much would it cost?

    Not being funny, but that's something of a " how long is a piece of string question". What requirements do you have? Do you need a full size keyboard? Is hammer action a requirement ( if you're going to / coming from piano out is)? Do you need onboard speakers or will it output to a speaker system? What is your budget.

    these are just the first of many questions. if you post a more detailed set of requirements I'm sure we can answer better :-)
