What are these cars like? There is a 08 going for 9,500 in the local garage. I was told it has all the bells and whistles etc in it. Even a sat nav built into the car

It does seem cheap, but it looks very clean

Avoid. Terrible car, just tell me where it's available though :D

Seriously, that sounds too good to be true. Has it a service history etc?

2litre. This all I know. My mother was getting her cars front bumper repaired and they dropped it back. I had to give the owner a lift back I just asked a question about it. He didn't go into much detail

    Is it on Irish plates?

Sounds too cheap. There's always a reason.

Would have thought its around €4k too cheap

That's a bit odd, they have a website on which they advertise their cars but they don't put this one on it? Seems a bit fishy to me, and, as Colm said, about 4k too cheap. Is it a case of "if it seems too good to be true...then it probably is"!

Maybe it's really really high mileage or it has been in a tip or had an insurance claim? You could get a history report on it.

There must be some mistake here OP, you simply can not buy an 08 A6 2.0TDI in any kind of reasonable order for that kind of money.

Al the toys, ex demo car? Been ragged by every motor journalist in the country?
Maybe the lad in the garage owns it rather than the garage itself so it's a trade/private sale?

The site seems not to be updated in awhile.

Maybe it was a stolen recovered car out of the UK or something?

Did ya take her for a road sphin?

Sounds off, that'd be more along the price of a 2006. Either with a decently specced petrol/V6 diesel or a bog standard 2.0TDi.
