    Still using powerpoint, how are really professional slides done?

    The themes they have are amateurish imo.

    Any advice? :)

    try http://prezi.com/ - its gives some fantastic and impressive results. Most people have not seen it and it really wows them the first time

    That looks good alright, but I would still like to use powerpoint although I don't make it seem very clear in the OP. :)

    I usually make my own custom templates

    Would you be confident enough or have the time? It's quite easy. I used to have an account here too a few years ago: http://www.animationfactory.com/en/

    They were pretty good for powerpoint templates of various categories/themes.
