Primary Teaching Dublin

Hi, I am looking for some advice. I am finishing my H.Dip in Primary Education soon. I am currently living in Limerick. After the summer I am contemplating moving to Dublin to try and get some work. Have people already done this? I will most likely not have secured a job before I move up as there is a scarcity of jobs. Will I find it difficult to get subbing in Dublin?

    Thanks in advance ;)

Long term subbing, yes. Days here and there, no. Register with text-a-sub and the INTO sub lists.

It's very, very tough. My best friend is fully qualified and she's sent out about 150-200 applications since September and only got a couple of sick days here and there. No long term contracts, no maternity contracts and definitley not enough to pay rent.
