Advice on fiancé buisness

Mods please move according if this is not correct section

    Hi
My fiancé has her own buisness however it's not doing very well. She currently is earning approx €250 a week from clients(beauty and nails) and is at the end of a self employment scheme which gives her 1/3 of welfare allowance which ends in May and then looses this benefit.. After buying supplies she is left with little or nothing for herself.
We have two kids so she only works on a part time basis. She moved into my house and currently rents out her own house at a loss of €60 plus PtSb fees.
She is loosing money left right and center. I'm paying for everything in our new house bills, shopping, mortgage. So I have nothing left to spend on us.
My question basically is what should my fiancé do with her buisness. Give it up, get another job, keep it up on the hope its turns better or to something else
We're getting married next year so at least I can take her credits which are currenty wasted.
    From a very broken man
    Thanks

There was a documentary about something like this

The father was unable to provide for his family so he decided to make methamphetamines to make a living,

Maybe she could try that, seemed to make a lot of money from it.

Have you tried shouting at her?

Sorry to hear your story. Would it be possible for her to get a part time job while also doing the nail job part time so she can at least spend half her working week doing the job she wants and enjoys. As long as her business isn't making a loss and it's what she truly wants to work at in her life try look for the best fit for ye that can keep that happening.

    Good luck.

    Sell her house?

    Or become her pimp

Is her business cash-in-hand? She needs to increase her client base. All of my beautician friends are making a fortune doing nixers at the moment.

Edit: Sorry, just noticed the self-employment scheme part.

It sounds like she'd be financially better off not working at all. Such a shame!

Surely the bills, shopping, and mortgage is something you are spending on yourselves?

Cancel the wedding, it's pretty much an utter waste of money (unless you are going for something small) - but if you are talking church wedding, 2k to a photographer, all that sort of ****e, cancel it now.

Definitely the wrong forum. Doubt you'll get a mature response here.

    How big is her penis?

Some people still have a little disposable income, so after she does their nails she should consider robbing them.

Could she look out for any part time positions in nail&beauty where she might be able to work for someone else thus having an income and no overhead costs.

alternatively has she looked at advertising or trying to gain new customers to improve business? There are many ways to do this at low cost apart from your social media and word of mouth advertising. e.g. place an ad in a local paper/notice boards in supermarkets/flyers etc.

Alternatively are there other options to source supplies, she could shop around with different suppliers to get the best quote or buy in bulk to receive discounts etc.

Is there a reason why she is letting her house at a loss? There is a high demand in the renting market now but I assume it could be down to location or renting to a friend/family. If the renting agreement is nearing the end then a rent increase would be a solution if feasible.

Something tells me that you probably get an awful lot of serious replies in here ;)

She needs to cut her losses. If she is tied with small children, then she won't be available for work. If she was lucky to get a part time job, that allowed you to look after the kids, that'd be the way to go. It's a very dodgy business and you can bet if she keeps it on on the quiet, she'll be reported before too long. You could bring the wedding forward. Why wait? No one will be too bothered if you just have a small do, after all it's the marriage, not the wedding that is important. Good Luck.

It's hard to know if she should give up the business, maybe she's just not advertising effectively. If she's good at it then there's no reason for her not to succeed. Maybe she's terrible at it and the people she's working with don't want to say anything, if that's the case she should give up.

Yes I'm doing well its advice I need on my fiancé as she is stressed out just cause I say I'm broken does not mean financially I was talking about stress wise.

I have money but I can't just keep subbing her buisness and debts, as its stands her buisness owes me over 4k.

Beauty and nails is a flooded market tbh, both black economy and otherwise.
She needs a unique selling point if she is to continue with it on her own.

Girls who'll have fellas who seek help on this forum would be scarce enough I'd imagine (or at least I'd like to think so)

Yeah because that's a quality women are always searching for, creating threads on the proper fora on boards.ie.

How can she make a loss from renting out her property?
By that do you mean that her rental income does not meet her mortgage outgoing?
That's not a loss by the way.
    You've discounted the equity.
