    Hi all,

Just curious as to what (if any) maintenance is necessary with this GBB? I am planning on getting one soon and just want to know :)

Also if there is any weak points/ bad points :)
    Thanks :)

Same as any GBB pistol, and GBBR id imagine. There is moving parts and maintenance insures these parts move smoothly, seals should be inspected and greased (silicone) every so often.

See that's why I was asking, because there is nothing online on how to do that. I know how to take down and oil up a gbb pistol. However what/where you're supposed to do it on the MP7 I don't know about and I though I would ask here... I guess those maintenance/upgrade thread would be pretty handy eh? *off topic, I will be able to start on that after the 12th*

in general the GBBr lines are usually for those airsofters with a lot of experience with taking apart a gun and maintaining it. Not saying you're not but the fact that you have to ask what exactly to clean, it may be more suited for you to get the electric one, or else harass the retailer for information on it :p..
We all gota start somewhere but gas guns run so much different that they just require more attention like you clearly already are aware of.

Could be way off the mark but I think the KSC take down and the TM takedown of the MP7 are similar so have a nosey on youtube, but that's where it ends, they use different designs for the bolt carrier assembly, I think. I could have imagined this :D but I'd swear i saw a comparison video somewhere or review.

If you get that far, it won't be that difficult, look for where there is most movement, bolt carrier for example. There more than likely will be a O-ring, near the nozzle. Clean the barrel every so often, and mag maintenance would be similar to a pistol, well it was for my WE M4 mags anyways with regards valves and seals.

As I said I could also be wrong.............:D

    Cheers for the info lads.

Yeah T4RGET I was just making sure because I wasn't sure if it were to be the same as a gbbr or pistol and there was nothing TM wise on take downs and specific maintenance. If you're gonna spend 400+ on a gun and it's mags you wanna be damn sure you know how to take care of it haha

and yeah thanks Dandy, I'm, going to have a gander online now and see the KSC one :)

    Much appreciated all :)

    Sorry for not replying earlier!

Maintenance on these things is extraordinarily simple. There are two pins at the rear of the gun, just at the stock. Simply push out those two pins and pull the stock out. The stock, charging handle and BCG (bolt carrier group) will pull free. Simply oil/grease that up, and away you go. That's it!

Other than that you're looking at proper care and maintenance on magazines (same as any other green gas powered gun) :)
