3 Month Braces

    Hi all!

I had braces when I was a teenage and like most , a few years later stopped wearing my retainer as regularly as I should. It's only now that my wisdom teeth are coming in and after trying and failing to make my retainer fit, I'm worried that they might make a bad situation worse.

I've heard of similar stories where some, having previously had braces, get them on again to straighten out some minor issues, for a much shorter period of 3 months.

I'm just wondering if any one here has done this and if so, did it cost around the same as getting long term braces (1- to 5 years) or if there were any cheaper alternative options? I'm in no rush to relive the pain of braces anytime soon if I don't have to!

    Hi Casey

Nobody can say what treatment you may need without an examination. If your teeth have moved a little bit it may be possible to straighten them again in a few months with a reduced cost from the usual cost of braces. If they have moved a lot then it will take longer and cost more.

Fees would range 1000-4000 so talk with your dentist or orthodontist about it and go from there.
