question about garmin edge 800

    I am thinking of purchasing a garmin 910 XT forerunner watch. I do alot of running, cycling and swimming. This has a chest strap for heart rate monitoring. My question is can the strap that measures heart rate on this watch connect and display the info on my garmin 800 edge? Does the edge connect to this watch? The garmin edge I have did not come with the Heart Rate strap.

    I'm pretty sure the same Garmin HRM will be compatible to link with either an XT product or an Edge product if that's what you're asking?
