Tag Salary Question

    Hi guys,

    Anyone know if I tag someone whether there salary is gauranteed? i.e. could I tag them, and cut them with little / no penalty if I pick up someone better in FA???
    Hoping its a one year salary with no bonus type of thing!

    i think you still pay half of what you tagged them for if you release, why i think this is i tagged a CB earlier for 10m by mistake and when i went to see could i release him, i had to pay him 5m but it freed up 5m in my cap

    Cool not worth the 3.5 million safety net if that's the case!

    In case anyone is wondering Stacey Andrews is a bad influence on the locker room and should not be signed by anyone.....
