    Can anyone identify this old amp? I found it whilst clearing me hobby room, I have had it almost 20 years, can't remember where or when I got it, probably bought it when drunk and hid it away..... anyhoo, it is full of pot static but does sound really nice when it settles down. I have searched the'net for it but have found nothing.

    I think it's a v amp va30. As far as I know it's a cheap and cheerful bass practice amp.

    if you can get a bigger pic of the front panel I can confirm that

    It's not American. Looks like Carlsboro ilk solid state stuff. BJT class AB output, no doubt. Spray out pots and it will be good as new.
