Saw a Lexus hearse today. The hearse originally started as a GS300. Never thought of a Lexus as a hearse

Havent seen one but why not?
I dont see how its more luxurious than alot of other hearses. Lots of new model E class mercedes hearses for example

mate used to own a hearse when we were starting to drive, cheapest way to get a 2.8L granada, low mileage, cheap tax and insurance. We were the bees knees driving around in it. Though we got sick of people blessing themselves when we passed or people used to pull in out of our way if we were tailgating them............

How luxurious does a hearse need to be? its not like the poor bastard in the back will complain...

    A luxurious hearse?

Most people travel to their graves in a Merc'.

A Lexus is just a jumped up Toyota. ;)

Years ago there used to be a 94 Soarer in Navan
    • The front had a Lexus badge
    • The rear had a Toyota badge

i remember a feature on nationwide or something back in early 90s about a guy who brought in a previa hearse, you could nearly fit the family sitting beside the coffin!

Technically it was both. Toyota sold the Soarer, Lexus sold it as the SC300/400 in Japan.

Was there not a court case over this years ago?
As far as I can remember the judge ruled it was a toyota and the dealer had to pay the money back.
