Can she get tax back?

    Hi all,

    My 17 year old daughter worked 2-3 days a week for the past 6 months or so and she's been made redundant since Christmas.

    Can she claim back the tax that was collected?

    need a lot more information to give a definite answer -- but if she takes her p45 into revenue and asks for a balancing statement they will tell her pretty quickly if she is due a refund

    or just ring them

    This is something she has to do herself. You cannot access her records. Just get her to call her local paye section to ask for a Review of 2012. Her former employer should have already filed her p45 with Revenue. If any refund is due, it will issue to her.
