Is it more efficient to keep the hot water constantly at 60/70 Degrees using oil?

Apologises if this has been asked before. My Maxi pod 250 litre storage tank has a heat loss according to what's written on it of 1.79 kW 4/24. Which can only assume that it loses 1.79 kW of energy every six hours?

My question: Would it be more efficient to have the oil topping up the water tank to keep it at an even temperature of 60 to 70 degrees (tank has stat) 24/7 considering it's well insulated or should the water by left to cool slightly and then come on with the heating system twice daily?

One advantage of having constant regulated hot water would be instant heating to the rads without strain on the condenser boiler. However, have had two oppposite schools of thought on this and any advise would be greatly appreciated.

This is the direct boiler system HERE
