Hope this is an easy question to answer. Where can I get .22lr Flobert or BB cap rimfire ammo? Or even low velocity like .22 colibri or cci cb shorts.

I realise an airrifle would be better but I cant get another gun for a while and i have the cz452.

I need to clear some pigeons from a large shed.

There's at least one other using CB ammo on here so they should know at least.

If it's any use - I have air rifles and I'd be happy to help out.

Try connollys redmills in goresbridge, i got eley shorts there before, they were powerfull though, nearly all them bb caps and shorts are twice as powerfull as an airgun, VERY bad accuracy also. Bird Shot might be the way to go but i never used that.

Thanks for the replies. Connellys only have the bird shot but from what I hear online its usless over 10 feet.

I'll keep hunting for them or eventually get an air rifle.

Used the bird shot .22 and it covers an A4 page @12y never tried is out any more than that.

What about the CCI segmented ammo would that brake up enough to use??

I dont think they are safe enough as they seem to break up after 2-3 inches after penatrating.
Think what might be the best .22lr bullet from this video

    Enjoy.

CB Long made by CCI 710 fps Sold in sports shop in Monkstown Dublin about €14 a hunderd should hit a bird at 20yards but not much good after that. Shopuld not be powerful enough to penertrate the roof but best to check on a waste piece to make sure. Very quite. Quiter then springer air rifle
