So I got a provisional booking for my car yesterday (7th January). But the date on the top of the letter was dated 6th December. They provisionally booked the test for me for the 17th January. So I got a provisional booking for my car yesterday (7th January).

But the date on the top of the letter was dated 6th December.

They provisionally booked the test for me for the 17th January.

But it's automatically cancelled 10 days before if you've not confirmed it.

How is it dated 6th December, and I only received it on the 7th January, and therefore it's automatically cancelled as I have not confirmed within 10 days of the provisional test?????
