The Northside People, recently introduced a section with articles from the Irish Newspaper Archives: This report is from the Irish Press, January 22nd,1962 ".....Arkle is regarded as the greatest steeplechaser of all time. He won his first ever race at Navan in 1962 at the incredible odds of 20/1....."
