    Hi Guys,

Would somebody be able to help me with a problem I'm having. I've a sky box and a walker combi box connected to the same LMB through a splitter to bring a seperate feed to each box. There is a power pass on both lines of the splitter. My problem is when 2 boxes are powered on together it takes out the Sky box. Is there anyway I can get the 2 of them going together?

Thanks in advance for any help!

You can't use a splitter. Each box must have its own feed direct from the LNB.

You can not split a satellite feed from the LNB, it must be a separate feed to each box

Is there no way around it?

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping there would be a cowboy fix. If i was to buy a twin lnb then for my dish will a standard shop bought one work for sky?

You can buy a quad Lnb thats designed for a sky dish on sites such as tv trade .ie or satellite.ie If you have an older dish there is also an adapter for sale .they cost around 20 euro plus delivery.

Like the LW/MW/SW/FM bands on old radios there are 4 satellite 'bands'. The receiver connected to power pass chooses which band the LNB is on.

also look at www.adverts.ie for quad LNB's - each of up to 4 cables can be on it's own band

Thanks again. I picked up a new quad lnb today and I'll install it over the weekend. A guy who should know better told me id be ok running the 2 off the same lnb.
