    Can anyone nane this weed and what would kill it.
    It has a very long root and round-up and shrub killer has no effect. It has our veggie tunnel over run
    Hope the photo is detailed enough.

    mayweed, chickweed as far as I can see, is usually very easily controlled. when have you applied roundup? hands and knees is the best route forward:D rather you than me

    Defo chickweed, best to remove by hand as soon as it appears as it flowers & sets seed very quickly & then you'll be pulling it up forever, also destroy pulled weeds as they can regrow from roots.. Aparantly it's also edible so you could always grow it & eat it like lettuce! :D

    could be either speedwells or mouse eared chickweed,both buggers to kill. will check my notes tomorrow to see what might kill them. not easy to get something for where you want it

    thanks for all the replies and apologies in getting back so late. need a new boards app !
    hope someone can come up with a spray solution or the other option is dig it out and replace the clay !
