Analogue upc in bedroom

Hi, I have recently moved into an apartment where there the owner pays for upc broadband only but receives additional upc analogue channels via the router in living room. She is very happy with this service.

I have moved in and there is a wall aerial socket in my bedroom, but no signal is received when tv connected to it.

If we ring upc to enquire about receiving a signal through the aerial point into bedroom are they likely to push digital box?

Is there any way to get the upc analogue in the bedroom, similar to living area?
    Thank you

What kind of TV is it - does it have a VHF tuner which is required to receive most of the analogue channels?

Bedroom tv is new 32 inch samsung capable of tuning analogue and digital.
Currently using an indoor aerial which has picked up 18 digital channels ( basically rte) and no analogue.

When you connect the TV to the UPC point on the wall, do you do an autotune and have you told the TV to search for analog only - or analog and digital?

The default may be to search for digital only in which case the UPC point on the wall will yield nothing.
