    Hi folks,

I'm looking to locate bevelled Subway tiles as shown below. All the usual suspects in my locality are either out of stock or don't carry them at all.

    Anyone come across them recently?

    20 x 10cm

    Thanks in advance.

I saw them recently (well, within the last 6 months anyway) in Tile Style at Ballymount.

I'd be amazed if they didn't have them.

Tile Style have them, as do right price tiles and B&Q

Thanks all, I had a feeling the lack of 'em was just a local anomaly alright. Will report back when I have them.

Next task is to source an aesthetically pleasing power shower - it's strange that 10 years after putting in the last unit, the models available today look remarkably similar, i.e. cheap and plasticy.

Hi, I recently went looking and found a lot of places stocked them in Dublin (House of Tiles, Right Price Tiles, even Woodies...). All were identical (in the sense that the bevelled edge was very very subtle) and all were all about 20ish euro per sq m.

But then I saw them in Tilestyle for twice the price but I preferred them because they had a deeper bevel at the edges and so looked better (IMO). However, I didn't prefer them enough to pay double.

Luckily, I waited and Tilestyle have a half price sale on at the moment :) So win win.

Just something to bear in mind - some have a very subtle bevelled edge and others are more pronounced. In case you'd have a preference.

Good stuff Roxee, cheers for that. We were also seeking a more pronounced bevel, but I'd imagine the ones we've gone with can be enhanced if lit correctly. We got a shout back from btw in the end and picked 'em up at €20 per sq m.

I'll stick up a pic when all's done and dusted - so, about 8 months at the current rate of progress :pac:

    Hi all,

I'm looking for un-bevelled flat subway tiles - gloss white ones preferably.
    Has anyone seen these anywhere?

I've seen the bevelled ones in several tile shops but not the flat ones.

    Thanks in advance.

The blog below points to http://www.caesartiles.ie/ as a source for non-bevelled Subway tiles

As for our own project, it took a while but we're almost done - just need to source some nice bathroom art and towels and that'll be that.
