Savings Savings changed interest rate?

I just see that from 16/12 last the rates for all state savings changed downwards (I had changed address and not advised them so got no notification)

Does anyone know if the rates that existed when you took out the products (Savings Bonds and Nat Solidarity Bond last August) apply for the duration of your savings or if you were switched to new rates from 16/12 regardless of what rate was when you took out. Any ideas?

What ever interest you signed up to on the the saving Cert and saving Bonds you keep for the full term.
The solidarity Bond will have a very slight drop in interest.*

*(Due to dirt increase on annual interest)
