    hello i have a fully metal cyma ak74. real wood . wondering what should i do to the gun to the external of the gun. im thinking of getting a silencer for it and is it possible to remove the wood to plastic ? also would the silencer ruin the preformance playing airsoft a year but still kinda new to parts and stuff.

    please don't replace the wood furniture with plastic. weather the wood, raised metal bits and barrel. It will look better like that than with most any amount of tacti-lego bolted on.

    With a few exceptions, AKs look their best when they look used and as old as warfare itself. In my opinion of course.

    Agree 100% with Lemming. I'm the proud owner of 2 Aks and the older the better, the more wear and tear, scratches the more real the gun looks. If you want a plastic gun head for the Euro shop.

    Agree with the two guys above. I've a STG44 (AK's were based on this gun) and it is full metal with a wooden stock. The scratches on the stock and gun make it look a lot more realistic than a lot of other aeg's like my M4 which looks like a toy in comparison.
