Problem with keyboard and backspace key.

    Samsung R519 laptop.

There was a small amount of liquid spilled on the keyboard. No permanent damage done.
I washed it under the tap to get the heavy stuff and then rinsed it with purified water.

The problem is that when you type anything, the cursor keeps going back and deleting everything, as if you were holding down the backspace key.

I removed the backspace key, and it is completely clean.

There's also a dinging noise on start up. It sounds like a key is being held down.

    Any ideas?

Plug in a usb keyboard and see what happens with it.Its sounds like you will have to replace the keyboard.
