    Hi lads,

I need a bit of advice on the system i want i have a vu+ duo and a sky dish with 2 coax wired to it and all work great but i am thinking of getting a Al Jazeera card i know i need to be pointing at 13e for Al Jazeera.

Here is where i need the help i don't want to have a motorized dish so a fixed dish with 2 lnbs on it will do it?
Now this is what i want to be able to do, i want be able to watch just say a match on Al Jazeera and record eastenders on bbc 1 on 28e.

    so here are the questions

    1. Is it possible?
    2. Will the sky dish be able to receive the signal fron both satellites?
    3. What equipment would i need?

    Thanks for any help

    1. Yes (I have a Vu+ connected to two separate dishes).
    2. I don't believe so but I'll let others answer - it may depend on whether you are west coast or east coast.
    3. A dish, a LNB and two diseqc switches.

    Thanks bud
Just another question, can you watch one channel and record another on the 28e sat?

Yes I can. Each output from the 28.2e LNB is connected to one of the tuners on the Vu+ duo (via a diseqc switch on each cable as I am sharing with the other dish's LNB).

doubt it butu depends on your location - best to go for a 80cm dish to be sure.

I have a 80cm dish and get Al Jezeera sports on Hotbird 13 along with Astra 19 and Astra 28
